Do you feel like you are in need of a bit of extra support?

I work with clients with a wide variety of presenting difficulties. Working together to build a trusting relationship we can explore any concerns you are currently experiencing. I specialise in attachment and how our lived experiences shape our thoughts and feelings in the here and now. Helping clients on their journey to re-align what it is they want and need both from themselves and others around them. The power of compassion is of utmost importance to my practice and I hope to be able to work on internal systems such as self esteem and self valuation.

As an Integrative Therapist, I draw on many modes of therapy, based around the relational model, and I believe the relationship between myself and my client is the key to any progress made. Offering a welcoming space where we can explore your thoughts at your own pace and without judgment, in a confidential setting. With a background in psychology and over 20 years of experience working with issues around childhood trauma, I take a compassionate, trauma-informed approach.

I would love to hear from you.

About
Open Space Therapy

Welcome — Thank you for visiting Open Space Therapy.

My name is Jo, I’m an Integrative Therapist, trained to Degree level with a BACP-Accredited Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I also hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Psychology and have always had a deep interest in how we think, feel, and relate to others. This, along with my passion for emotional wellbeing, led me to train as a therapist so I could offer meaningful, therapeutic support to those navigating life’s difficulties.

As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to tailor our work together in a way that best suits your needs. At the heart of my practice is the belief that the relationship we build is key to healing. I focus on creating a safe, trusting environment where you can feel heard, understood, and supported as we explore your concerns together.

I have a particular interest in childhood trauma, including adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and the ways in which our early attachment relationships shape our thinking, behaviours, and future adult relationships. I believe we are all shaped by our past experiences — and with the right support, we can begin to understand and accept the past and recognise how this is affecting the here and now.

With over 20 years of experience supporting children and families, I bring a sensitive and trauma-informed approach to our work. I offer face-to-face sessions from my practice in the Kings Hill  area of Kent as well as online sessions.

I offer a free 15 minute consultation for you to decide if I am the right fit for you.

If you’re ready to take that first step, I warmly invite you to get in touch.

Jo Frost, BSc (Hons) Psych, Dip. Couns, MBACP, MBPsS .
